- Insurance can be provided for drivers between the ages of 25 to 74 years who have held a full licence for a minimum period of 2 years

- Yes, but if you currently have more than 6 points, or if your conviction code is not SP, we will not be able to provide insurance through our current provider

- Yes fully comprehensive insurance for one driver with a standard excess of £2000 is included in your hire

- In exceptional circumstances if you are a company with a fleet policy that includes Motorhome Hire and you can provide a fully comprehensive cover note for the duration of the hire, this would be strictly by prior authorisation from our insurance company and normally for multiple van hires at the same time
- No, travel outside of the UK is strictly prohibited
- All our vehicles are covered by a National breakdown company and a National tyre supplier
- Yes, all of our vehicles are pet friendly
- There will be no pet surcharge from March 2022

- No, all our vehicles have manual transmission
- From 2022 all our motorhomes are 5 years old or less and are serviced and well maintained to hire standards
- Collection times will be communicated prior to your rental day by the location staff normally collection time is between 1500 and 1630, however we reserve the right to change this at any time up to the day of collection if your vehicle requires maintenance on the day of return
- Returns MUST be between 0900 and 1100, if your vehicle is going back out the same day you will be required to return at 0900. Any return after 1100 will result in a surcharge please refer to our terms and conditions for full details

- All hirers are required to pay a Security Deposit of £250 against fuel/traffic violations/parking fines/valet charges if applicable
- In addition to this a further excess deposit is required of either standard excess £2000 or if Excess Reduction is purchased £250 please refer to our terms and conditions for full details
- Your deposits should be refunded within 28 working days from the return date of the vehicle but may be longer in the event of damage having been detected and charged
- Yes, we offer Excess Reduction which reduces the standard excess of £2000 down to £250 for a fee, please refer to our terms and conditions for full details
- In addition we also offer a Special Protection which reduces the excess charge for damage to Windscreen, Wingmirror and Tyres to £0 please refer to our terms and conditions for full details
- No, if you fall into any of the categories below you are not eligible to purchase Excess Reduction or Special Cover:
a) Non-UK Residents
b) Non-UK Mainland travel
c) Drivers disclosing accidents, medical conditions & multiple endorsements in the past 3 years
d) Any named driver with an Overseas Driving Licences
e) High Risk Occupation Drivers – includes but not limited to those who are engaged in professional gambling, sport or entertainment, including film & television, hawking or general dealing, street or marketing trading, please refer to our terms and conditions for full details
- The Motorhome provides hot air blown heating through the internal ventilation system. The heating is provided by the diesel in the fuel tank and will only function well when the vehicle has at least ¼ tank fuel
- The engine does not need to be running for the heating to work. Minimal diesel fuel is used during this process
- Only the main vehicle cab area provides air conditioning when driving
- Cool air vents are located throughout the rest of the vehicle

- Yes, we supply the used gas bottle from the previous Hirer, Vaaroom cannot guarantee the level of the gas on collection
- The Hirer is then responsible for changing the gas bottle at a Calor outlet who will swop the empty bottle for a full bottle at the Hirer’s expense
- All of our models can safely carry 1 bottle of 6KG Propane only
- No, the plug sockets will only work if you are hooked up to an electricity supply
- The motorhome has a leisure battery, which will provide the power for the lights and the water pump if mains electricity is not available
- A fully-charged leisure battery can last for up to 72 hours with conservative use and we recommend to hook up every 2/3 days to ensure the systems continue to work properly
- No, due to the Covid-19 pandemic we have permanently changed our bedding policy and all Hirer’s MUST provide their own bedding
- No hires will be allowed if the Hirer does not supply their own bedding as sleeping directly on our beds is also forbidden
- From March 2024 our New Motorhomes will have an audio system compatible with your phone apps such as Google Maps etc
- VW Campervans have Android auto/Apple CarPlay apps please check what type of lead is required to attach your phone (not supplied)
- We encourage you to watch instructional videos prior to collection and during your hire in the first instance
- We also provide a written manual of how the systems work on the van which should be used to troubleshoot any issues
- We do provide a support service as a last resort from our location staff between the hours of 0900 and 1700 Monday to Saturday
- If you cannot get hold a member of staff our default instruction is to find a campsite and use their facilities (which may be re-imbursed if the fault is proven as non-user error on return)
- The gas will run your cooking facilities

- The fridge can be utilised whilst on mains electricity thus reducing quantity of gas used

- The motorhomes will do approximately 20-30 miles per gallon depending on the number of passengers, size of motorhome and driving conditions
- The speed limit is set as National speed limits for all of our Motorhome models
- All Motorhomes must be returned to the collection depot between 0900 and 1100. All vehicles that are being rented again on the same day MUST be returned at 0900
- With no less than the same level of fuel that was recorded on collection (no refunds will be given for vehicles returned with a higher amount of fuel)
- All Motorhomes MUST have been prepared for return including the following conditions or surcharges will apply please refer to our terms and conditions for full details
- Emptied and sanitised toilet cassette (non of our depots have the facilities to empty this on site and employees are NOT allowed to empty this on behalf of the Hirer)
- Waste water tank drained fully
- All floors cleaned
- All refuse removed
- Bathroom and toilet cleaned
- All surfaces wiped down
- Kitchen Itinerary washed, dried and replaced in cupboards
- No, we do not have any vehicles with access suitable for wheelchairs
- No, we do not supply awnings
- No, none of our vehicles are fitted with a tow-bar
- From March 2024 our Campervans will NOT be supplied with a bike rack
- From March 2024 all of our Motorhomes will have the facility to store up to 4 bikes inside the Garage compartment (bike racks CANNOT be supplied or fitted)
- Yes we can supply child seats subject to availability and if requested as part of the booking process and are subject to a surcharge please refer to our terms and conditions for full details
- We do not have Isofix fittings for baby/child seats in our Motorhomes. All child seats are required to be secured within a normal 3-point seat belt.
- No, we cannot accept a booking for which a specific tyre type is required
- Snow chains are also not provided
- In England, it is illegal to park overnight in an undesignated area e.g. roadside layby, supermarket or service area car parks.
- We always recommend you book an approved campsite.
- We can arrange temporary membership with the Camping and Caravan club at no cost to you, enabling membership rates at all their sites.
- No, the fresh-water tank is NOT suitable for drinking it is for washing up and bathing only
- A full tank of fresh water is usually not provided unless specifically requested as this negatively impacts fuel consumption efficiency.
- Should you require a full tank be provided please ensure this is requested during your pre-arrival call with the location staff prior to collecting your Motorhome.
- Yes, but you may be subject to a cancellation fee, please refer to our terms and conditions for full details
- All of our Motorhomes fridges work in the same way. They need to be refrigerated on gas or electric for a minimum of 8 hours on full refrigeration. Whilst driving the battery setting should be selected and this will attempt to maintain as low a temperature as possible, but will not refrigerate. It is recommended that you do not overfill your fridge and turn down to 2 bars in hot weather whilst driving. Once you have reached your destination refrigeration can then be resumed on gas or electric. (*Campervan fridges can be used to refrigerate whilst driving*)
